4.00 pm - First run in 1923, the Uncle Tom Cobley novelty race starts from a point on the horizon between Bonehill Rocks and Tunhill Rocks and finishes in the fair field.
The race is run over a distance of around 1.3 miles and competitors have to make their way as quick as possible, without using roads to the fair field.
En-route, competitors cross tors, moorland and dry stone walls, run through fields, steams and brambles and end with an up-hill sprint to the finish line... it's not for the faint hearted!
