What, When and Where To

The beautiful village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor lies between green fields and high, moorland hills in a sheltered valley on the East side of Dartmoor. Run entirely by volunteers to raise money for local good causes, as well as providing an opportunity for farmers to compare the size of their tractors, Widecombe Fair takes place on the second Tuesday of September each year and attracts visitors from far and wide.

Planning for this year’s event is well under way. The events schedule is coming together but still being finalised - please check back regularly for further updates.
