Car parks and one-way system

On Fair Day traffic in and around Widecombe operates according to a marshalled one-way flow system, with attendants at various key points directing incoming and outgoing vehicles. The one-way system operates from 9am until 5pm. See the map opposite for details.

There will be clear signs directing traffic to each of our park and ride locations: Dockwell and Southcombe Hill for local traffic arriving from the west and south; Holwell for all other traffic.

Blue Badge holders will be able to park in the disabled parking field next to the Fair Field itself.

Your fair entry ticket covers parking / park and ride so there is no additional charge at the parking lots. For details on coach parking, please see below or contact us.

Coaches

Widecombe Fair request you to please pre-book your coach parking for the day and give an estimate of your arrival and departure time.

We require that your passengers will have pre-booked Fair Field entry tickets online, at the reduced rate of £10 per adult. In return, coach parking will be FREE. Advance tickets can be purchased here.

Any coaches without advanced bookings will be charged £50 to park for the day. Coaches not wanting to stay can drop off and return later and will be given a 20 minute time slot to do so.

Please note that the fair field is about 200 metres from the coach park.

For any more information please contact us and choose the Traffic / Parking / Coaches option.
