Widecombe Fair and Your Data

We need to tell you how we use any data or personal information you share with us.

• The organisers of Widecombe Fair, including Widecombe Fair Committee Company Limited (WFCC), only use your data for the organising and planning of the annual Widecombe Fair.

• WFCC is registered as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office, and further details including the registration number are available on request.

• Data is held manually and on discrete electronic unlinked databases by a small number of known individuals.

• Data management is controlled by the Directors. The Fair Chairman and Deputy Chairman are aware who holds what data and in what formats.

• Data is never shared with third parties.

• Data held is reviewed annually by the Directors of WFCC immediately prior to the AGM, and any appropriate data not used in the last three years is deleted.

• The Data Protection Officer is the Company Secretary of WFCC.
